Known as the City of Respect, Reynoldsburg is a suburban community of Columbus. With a population of 36,000 residents, the city also has a claim to fame for being the "Birthplace of the Tomato," stating the first tomato grown for commercial use was raised in the area. Because of this, the Tomato Festival is held each August and includes parades, food, entertainment, and plenty of other fun.
As a major retail hub in the state, Reynoldsburg has many of the nation's top retailers as its main employers. Among those located in Reynoldsburg are Wal-Mart, Bath and Body Works, Lowes, Kroger, and Victoria's Secret. Because of its strong job market, many people are choosing to move to Reynoldsburg to start families and careers. This has made the real estate market stronger than ever in recent years, with homebuilders finding themselves extremely busy. New neighborhoods have been constructed in various parts of the city, leading to a number of homes that are priced very affordably.
Along with the increase in the housing market, the city also has become known for its excellent educational opportunities. A 72-hole golf course, along with miles of walking trails, make it a truly unique place to relax.
